Welcome to Ian Hart Funeral Service, from one of Worthing's oldest funeral directing families. Ian's Great Grandfather A.J.Pratley founded the parent company at the beginning of the last century before being succeeded by Ian's Grandfather A.G (Gordon) Pratley in 1927.

Ian himself has over 18 years experience in the funeral profession in the Worthing and Surrounding district. Ian was awarded his Diploma in Funeral Directing by the National Association of Funeral Directors in 1989, at the same time he was elected to become full member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors and is proud to be one of the few fully qualified and Licensed Funeral Directors within the Country. Ian has been an active member of the Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors and was privileged to serve as their President from 1997 to 2000.

Ian Hart Funeral Service operate to a strict code of practice, as set down by the The National Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors and will endeavour, under all circumstances, to provide full and correct information about all the services that are available. Ian's aim is to listen to and treat all of his clients with respect and courtesy in an effort to meet their very own personal needs, and to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the quality of the service received. It is Ian's intention to offer a full and comprehensive service at costs tailored to meet the individual clients requirements, with office facilities and personal visits available seven days a week, at a time suitable to the client.
