We were very pleased with the calm, compassionate, professional service we received from Sam, Jane and the team at Ian Hart for a recent funeral I had to arrange. They were always on hand to help with any questions. It took a large weight off our minds as we were confident they knew exactly what they were doing at all times and everything was under control. Their experience really showed, many thanks.

Our Family were assisted though this particularly difficult time, with the sad loss of our Mum, and would like to thank, in particular, Chris Cook for his caring and professional attitude in the specific arrangements; and Andy Roberts who led our Mother’s beautiful service with calm, caring and compassion. In this very difficult time the service helped turn our loss into a positive reflection on life ahead, with treasured memories. THANK YOU

Ian Hart helped make the terribly sad experience of losing our mum incredibly smooth and easy to arrange her service. It was a very devastating time for us and challenging with the COVID situation. I have to say that I would recommend going direct to Ian Hart rather than using other types of funeral plan packages. They really know their profession and provide excellent value for money as well as a very caring and respectful attitude.

We organised my Dad’s funeral through Ian Hart and held it at their Gordon Chapel in Worthing and it went so well, very personal with the staff being attentive and caring. Although an upsetting and emotional event to arrange the process from beginning to end went smoothly, being professionally run with a lot of care and advice. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Ian Hart’s, especially Sam.

I was so impressed with the quality of care and dignity given by Ian Hart and his team at the funeral of a very loved friend. The decision on whom to employ for my husbands funeral in June this year was not difficult, and I was not disappointed. It was the worst day of my life but equally, one of the best as I felt that I had organised the best tribute possible for my husband.

My family and I would like to thank Jane James and all her colleagues at Ian Hart Funeral Services, Worthing for the service they held for our mother in the Gordon Chapel on 30th November 2020. Without doubt it was exceptional.

The funeral arrangements for my grandparents Patricia Wood and Ronald Wood were perfect. Thank you Ian Hart and all your Staff for a very professional and caring funeral for my Mother yesterday. Everything went smoothly, and all who attended said how good it was. The photo show combined with the music was a particularly good feature and special thanks to Chris for his patience and understanding in compiling it. As usual Pastor Joe Davis conducted a very warm and perceptive service.

Thanks also to the caterers who provided a lovely selection of food , nothing was too much trouble for them and their pleasant demeanor added to an enjoyable afternoon following the service even providing bags for the leftovers!

All in all a very good experience, in good surroundings, carried by a professional carring team.

Can’t thank Ian Hart and his team enough for giving my mum Doreen Ottaway the best send off she deserved. Very professional and caring. They did her proud in this covid environment. Went the extra mile. All I can say is thank you.

Chris and Dan had the hard job of collecting my father the night he passed and were professional and sincere for our loss.

IHFS recommended a gentleman called James Macmillan to be the celebrant for the service to which a lot of people asked us “did James know my father personally,” as he did such a great job of leading the eulogy.

I am sure my dad would have enjoyed hearing all the wonderful things he had said about him and how brilliantly James explained his story.

My family and I cannot thank IHFS enough for helping us through this hard time.

Their support before and after the funeral was fantastic. Accommodating all of our needs and requests.
